PROJECT HISTORY

In 2017, volunteers at Riley Elementary School noticed that many of the teachers were purchasing gifts for their students out of their own pockets. When these volunteers asked HOP to help, we agreed to sponsor 13 families who, due to difficult financial situations, are unable to afford Christmas presents for their children. Each family had between 2 and 8 children. HOP provided a box of family gifts and a $50 gift card per child given to the parents to empower them to purchase personalized Christmas gifts. As of 2020, HOP connected with Glendale Middle School and provided 20 gift bags to struggling families that each contained 2 family games and a $200 gift card. We appreciate our local school contacts, and value being able to uplift our local community.

How Can I Help?

Future Goals

The Kids Christmas Project was created to help families and children in need, and we look forward to continuing our efforts, working closely with local schools to determine where assistance is most helpful.
