First Annual Charity Climb to Feed the Kids of Kilimanjaro

 The Annual HOP Safari is something that everyone involved looks forward to each year. When we first began this tradition it was simply the children and staff of the KKC included. We have proudly expanded the program to include our Kilimanjaro Mountain Guides and their families as well. In addition, we meet a day early to have a celebratory pool party and welcome dinner together. Not only have we found it grows the excitement even more, but since these are such rare experiences, we have found that it makes it even more memorable and special for them as our guests. Meeting at the gates and caravanning down into the Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking experience. Massai cows are intermingling with zebra and giraffes along the rim, and everything from lions, elephants, wildebeests, hippopotamuses, different species of birds, rhinoceroses, and hyenas adventuring the watering holes and grasslands at the bottom.
