How Can I Help?
Do you have a medical skill that you’d like to employ to benefit a community abroad? HOP is always looking for medical professionals that want to team up with us and provide free medical services to those in need. We handle the logistics, you provide the services. If you’d like to get involved and plan a medical trip, contact us!
Monetary donations help cover the logistical costs of providing medical services, such as cataract intervention clinics.
In 2010 and 2017, Human Outreach Project teamed up with the University of Utah’s Moran Eye Center and medical facilities in Tanzania to bring vision back to over 1,000 people. With World Wide Trekking and HOP managing the logistics, doctors carried out over 400 cataract surgeries in Dodoma, Tanzania in 2010, and another 500 surgeries in 2017.
